What services are available for the suites (i.e. Cable/Satellite/Phone/Internet)?

The building is pre-wired for all services provided by Manitoba Telecom Services.

When will the standard (non-pet friendly) suites be available?

Units are available on a first come first serve basis. Call us at 204-726-1681 to check availability or click here (link to schedule viewing) to schedule a viewing.

How does the Air-Exchange unit work?

In the winter there is a comfort zone setting on the installed humidistat, your unit should be set within the comfort setting during the fall and winter months. If you notice there is condensation on your windows, the humidity level on your air exchanger should be reduced to a lower humidity setting. If you feel it is too dry in your suite, the setting should be adjusted for your desired level within the comfort zone on the humidistat. In the summer months the unit should be shut off as the air-exchange is not required.

How do you clean the floors?

Your floors should be washed in a warm water and vinegar solution (1:10 ratio) or with a product properly designed to clean Laminate flooring. The amount of solution applied to the floor should be wiped clean so that excess liquid cannot soak through the seams and between the boards. Please not that steam should never be used to clean laminate flooring.

How do I notify MB Hydro that I have moved in?

The property management company – Vionell Holdings will contact MB Hydro on your behalf. At that time, your name and address will also be provided in order for your billing account to be registered.

If there are any issues with my suite, whom do I contact?

Please contact the Vionell Holdings Office during office hours at (204) 726-1681 and the receptionist will direct your call to the right individual. For after-hours emergencies call the same number and listen to the answering service for the on-call emergency contact information.

What are my options for rental payments?

We recommend making payments through direct withdrawal for automatic payments to be withdrawn on the first of every month. You may also pay by cheque to:Vionell Holdings Rental Trust at the Vionell Holdings Office #18-1545 26th StreetBrandon, MB R7B 2C7.

Is there a place for my pet to use outside?

Yes. Grass will be installed in the spring along with a designated area for you and your pets to enjoy.

If we have more than one vehicle, may we rent a second parking spot?

Yes. Extra parking spaces rent for $40 per month and are based on availability.

Where do I apply for a suite at Arbutus?

Applications are available on the Vionell Holdings website (click here). They may also be picked up in person at the Vionell Holdings office located at #18-1545 26th St Brandon, MBR7B 2C7.

How much is my pet deposit?

Pet deposits are one full month’s rent payable on lease signing. This deposit will be returned to you with interest upon moving out, provided the unit is left in the condition when first rented.
